Office of Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury

  • Engaged in the legislative process for New Mexico's 1st District, including constituent services and policy briefs on environmental justice and sustainable technology in tribal lands.
  • Selected as the sole high school congressional intern at the Office.
September 2023 — Present

JumpStart New Mexico

  • Lead advocate mobilizing youth voices to influence state-level educational funding.
  • Assisted in the passage of legislation that impacted 300,000+ students.
National Recognition

United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP)

  • Selected as one of two student delegates from New Mexico for the 61st annual Washington Week.
  • Immersion in federal government functions, including meetings with the President, Supreme Court Justices, and Senate leadership.
  • Recieved $10,000 scholarship.
